Happy Memorial Day America!

This photo is of Pearl Harbor survivor Houston James of Dallas, Tx. and Marine Staff Sgt. Mark Graunke Jr. when they met during a Veterans Day event in Dallas a few years back. I was always struck by Staff Sgt. Graunkes countenance in this picture, as if he was slightly embarrassed to receive such gratitude from a WWII veteran. I hope every veteran out there has somebody run up to them and "embarrass" them a little, with a hug or a kiss and a "Thank you very much". My thanks to all who serve or have served this great country of ours. Thank you for your sacrifices, for protecting our freedoms, and for representing all of us so gracefully.
